Self Introduction

My name is Yiying He.  I am from China and this is my second year to Canada. I’m in the program of Pre- MBA and it is almost finished. Then, I will apply for the MBA program and it will be started in the fall semester this year. Hopefully, all the courses will be done in 2014 and I can graduate. But I haven’t decided staying in Canada or going back to my county after I graduate.

Before I came to Canada, I have got a degree of Hotel Management in Macao. Somebody may not know that city, it is the only one city owns the gambling industry in China and it is very famous in Asia. I spent four years for my bachelor degree there. During those years, I had half year for program internship in Orlando, United States. It was quite hard for me at the beginning of the internship because of the language, culture shocked, but I adapted to it very quickly. Based on this reason, it was not a big problem for me when I first came to Canada even though Canada is quite different with United States. After I finished my bachelor degree, I wanted to study more and experience a different education system, so I decided to come to Canada for my master degree. I hope I can get a job in the hospitality area in Macao because I like that city.

I have many hobbies. I like travelling and I have been many different cities and countries. At my early age, I always traveled with my family and now I like to travel with my friends because I think that has more fun because we are at the similar ages. I like photography also even though I am not professional.
